For the offshore activities in FLC Marine, starting up Mid 2023, we are looking for skilled and dedicated Deckhands / Excavator operators for the assigned vessels:

• Multipurpose pontoon
• Spreader pontoon
• Protection layer pontoon
• Immersion pontoons
• auxiliary equipment

for operation in the foreshore between Denmark and Germany.

The functions are foreseen as being combined in one position and are involved in all operations happening on board of our barges.

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Handling of mooring lines
• Handling of assisting vessels (e.g. tugboats)
• Running and handling of anchors
• General housekeeping and maintenance tasks
• Operating of vessels own lifting and discharging installations
• Inspection and maintenance of deck equipment as per supervisors’ instructions
• General safety and security tasks

Qualifications / Experience

• If an AB: Willingness to get trained on excavators/gravel handling machines
• If an excavator operator: Willingness to work on deck
• Experience as an excavator operator is a pro
• Experience in similar positions on working or seagoing vessels/ barges
• Completion of all mandatory training and certification requirements by position
