As Owners Superintendent in Clipper Bulk A/S, you will be part of a highly skilled and experienced team – with colleagues in the Far East and in America.
Our vessels are traded worldwide, and your dedicated work and decisions will have a direct impact on the bottom line. You will be considered as a “key person” in our endeavors to optimize performance and ensure a smooth operation.
The job will involve intensive traveling worldwide to visit the fleet and yards.
AGILE MINDSET AND DECISION-MAKER
Experience:
- A background as Marine Engineer or Dual Officer
- Strong professional knowledge of the shipping industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build good client relationships
- Responsible, flexible, and capable of making decisions under pressure
- A positive and go-getter attitude with professional communication skills in English
- Self-disciplined, organized, and ambitious
DAILY MANAGING THE MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Daily managing the manager and provide technical support handled by 3rd. party managers
- Condition surveys of owned fleet
- Monitoring/audit of vessel Opex, monthly reports, etc.
- Drydocking supervision and attendance including docking in/out and occasionally as required
- Together with our Environmental Manager and our Technical Managers ensure compliance of EEXI,
- CCI, and Environmental issues
- Flexibility to travel extensively worldwide
